Bossard opened a new office and design center in Boston.
The move to the new 100,000 sq ft facility, located at 2 Kay Way in Stoughton, MA, took place in February.
“The space was designed with education, hands-on experience with fastening solutions, Industry 4.0 driven supply chain management and cutting-edge testing services in mind,” the company stated.
The facility includes an ISO Class 5 Clean Room. Clean Room applications include medical devices, robotics and vacuum environments where machining and particle contamination need to be controlled.
Arnold Industries, which Bossard acquired in 2016, moved its main office and warehousing to the facility in February.

Click Bond hired Michele Varela as VP of quality assurance.
Varela brings 29 years of management experience in QA and operations to her position. Most recently she was quality manager for Arconic Global Fastening Systems & Rings in Fullerton, CA. She has also worked for PCC Fasteners, Cummins Engine Co., and Thermal Dynamics.
Varela holds a Bachelor of Science in business, operations and systems management and a Master of Science in quality assurance.

Davis succeeds Tony Dodds, who resigned as president and CFO to pursue other opportunities.
Davis has 30 years of sales and distribution experience. Most recently he was CEO of AgoNow, a national industrial wholesaler. Previously Davis held senior leadership roles with Stellar Industrial Supply and ORS Nasco.
In 2018, Fairmont acquired Utah-based THB – an industrial fastener distributor founded in 1986 by brothers Robb and Scott Harbertson.

Nedschroef announced that CEO Mathias Hüttenrauch will resign on September 1 “to explore his new career development.”
Hüttenrauch joined Nedschroef in 2011 and has been the CEO since January 2012.
“He led the expansion of the global footprint by building up the China plant, implemented a diversification strategy by setting up the Aviation Business Unit, and contributed to the transforming Nedschroef towards an engineering driven company by acquiring the high tech company CP Tech,” the Netherlands-based fastener supplier stated.
Under Hüttenrauch’s seven-year leadership, Nedschroef achieved over 50% sales growth. He will remain as the advisor for Nedschroef’s management Board and supervisory boards the end of December.

NORMA Group CEO Bernd Kleinhens has agreed to step down.
In addition to his role as CFO, Michael Schneider will become interim CEO while the supervisory board searches for Kleinhens’ replacement.
Kleinhens worked for one of the predecessor companies of NORMA Group in 1991 as a development engineer. He has since held various positions, and became managing director in 2005. He has been CEO since the beginning of 2018.
