NEWS BRIEFS

The U.S. Department of Commerce announced the final results of its antidumping duty administrative review for carbon and certain alloy steel wire rod from Trinidad and Tobago. Commerce made no changes in the margin calculated in the preliminary ruling, SteelOrbis reports.

US DOC concluded that for respondents ArcelorMittal Point Lisas Ltd. and affiliate ArcelorMittal International America LLC, the only concerned party for the review, an AD margin of 23.95% should be imposed. The margin is the same as the margin set in the preliminary finding issued in November 2009.

The period of the review was October 1, 2007, through September 30, 2008.

The petitioners in the case were ISG Georgetown, Nucor Steel Connecticut Inc., Keystone Consolidated Industries and Rocky Mountain Steel Mills. ©2010 GlobalFastenerNews.com
