Grainger February Sales Rise

Grainger reported February sales increased 12% – the same rate of growth as January sales. Revenue growth included a 5 percentage point contribution from acquisitions and a 2 percentage point contribution from foreign exchange.

Sales gains in the U.S. held steady at 6%, which included a double-digit gain in light manufacturing, growth in government revenue, and an increase in heavy manufacturing, commercial and retail.

In Canada, daily sales jumped 33%.

Daily sales for Grainger’s other businesses soared 264% in February, boosted by acquired businesses in Japan and India.
