Sherex Fastening Solutions opened its first office in Europe, Fastener + Fixing Magazine reports.

Located in Burnley, England, the office “responds to the demands of current customers and will help further expand Sherex’s fastening solutions into the European and Middle Eastern markets,” the company stated.

“The UK facility will provide design and technical support and be our sales and distribution centre for the UK and Europe, where we will continue to work even more closely with our long- term partner Dejond N.V in Belgium,” said managing director Michael Carbine.

Sherex also has four facilities in North America and Taiwan.  In 2004, the company had only one office located in western New York.

“We’re proud of our growth,” stated Sherex president Adam Pratt. “By having offices in the UK, United States, and Mexico, and manufacturing in Taiwan and Akron, Ohio, we’re globally positioned to quickly react to our customer requirements for global support.”
