FTI, IFI Offer Weeklong Fastener Training Program in July
The Fastener Training Institute and the Industrial Fasteners Institute will present a weeklong version of the Certified Fastener Specialist technical training program July 19-23, 2010 in Cleveland.
Instructors will be IFI director of engineering technology Joe Greenslade; Carmen Vertullo, Simply Better Inc.; and Salim Brahimi, IBECA Technologies.
The program will include everything from the regular seven-course CFS training on separate days.
Curriculum includes thread specifications, material specifications, process specifications; dimensional specifications and quality systems; lot traceability, test reports, print reading and tolerances; thread gaging and dimensional inspection and torque tension.
Upon completion of the training and passing a final exam, participants will receive the Certified Fastener Specialist designation.
