EFC International signed a warehouse lease to increase space in a relocation of its Chicago office from approximately 34,000 square feet in nearby Bloomingdale, IL, to a 63,318 sq ft facility in nearby Hanover Park, the Chicago Daily Herald reports. The lease was for a term of 63 months, ending April 30, 2025.
Built in 1992 and situated on 3.58 acres, the new facility provides 24-foot clear heights, four docks, one drive-in door and 73 parking spaces.
Founded in 1983, St. Louis-based EFC supplies specialty engineered metal, plastic, cold-formed, spring steel stampings, electrical and assembled component parts to OEM and distribution markets. Parker Fasteners began moving into its new headquarters in Arizona, the company announced on Instagram.
Office personnel were moved into the 50,000 sq ft facility at 26815 W Baseline Road, Buckeye, AZ 85326. Manufacturing equipment and operators “will be following shortly.”
The company purchased the Buckeye building in April 2019 and renovated it to house more than 100 full-time staff.
“The purchase and subsequent renovation of this building will provide us with the ability to grow, add employees and more efficiently manufacture products,” founder and president Robert Parker stated.
Parker Fasteners’ original facility is approximately 20 miles east in Goodyear, AZ.
