Bay Supply launched a B2B eCommerce platform for fasteners.  Bay Supply is an online marketing division of Bay Fastening Systems.

BaySupply.com is a B2B vertical niche marketplace for fasteners. “The fastener industry is fragmented and outdated. The industry needs a better way to leverage technology to streamline quote & order processes,” said CEO Clifford Bernard.  “The current process – multiple websites are sourced, contact us requests, email submissions to multiple vendors and multiple phone conversations – just doesn’t make sense for anyone in the supply chain anymore.”

Bay Supply includes 2,000 identified categories on the platform including rivets, bolts, threaded inserts, tools, adhesives, sealants and tape.  Each distributor receives an online profile.

“Fastening manufacturers are building their digital catalogs for their brands on their corporate websites,” Bernard said.  Bay Supply gives manufacturers broader exposure.

Bay Supply charges a fee to sellers for sales transactions on the platform.
