On August 10th, 1992, answering a newspaper ad, a 23-year-old machinist walked into his interview with North East Fasteners wearing shorts and a t-shirt. On January 1st, 2022, nearly thirty years later, he became NEF president.  

Martin Van Linter started as a machinist at age 16 and became a craftsman able to run every machine on the NEF factory floor.  He transitioned into management and then upper management
