Simpson Manufacturing Co. submitted a binding offer to acquire the Etanco Group for $818 million.
Founded in 1952, Etanco supplies fasteners, connectors, anchors and safety solutions for roofing, cladding, façade, waterproofing and solar applications for the construction market throughout Europe. Leveraging Etanco’s leading market position in Europe, Simpson intends to expand its portfolio of solutions, including mechanical anchors, fasteners and commercial building envelope solutions, as well as significantly increase its market presence across Europe.
