Anixter Fasteners Suzhou Targets Zero-Defect Performance
Anixter Fasteners announced that its 30,000 sq ft facility in Suzhou, China, now meets two important quality standards.
Anixter Suzhou, which serves as the company’s Fastener Asia Pacific divisional headquarters, has been granted the ISO 9001:2008 and VDA 6.2 certificates. These approvals assure Anixter Fasteners’ customers that the company has implemented business systems that will deliver the highest levels of quality to achieve zero-defect performance.
As the principal management system standard in the industry, ISO 9001 acknowledges Anixter Fasteners’ excellence in quality management.
VDA 6.2 is a quality standard developed by Volkswagen that incorporates all ISO 9001 requirements with additional elements specific to the automotive industry.
“The twin certifications assure Anixter’s customers, suppliers and employees that they are working in partnership with a globally integrated organization whose systems are measured against an internationally recognized benchmark and where an accredited third party conducts regular audits to ensure these standards are maintained,” the company stated.
Anixter Fasteners China is located 50 miles northwest of Shanghai in a three stories of offices totaling 15,000 sq ft, 30,000 sq ft of warehousing and a 2,000 sq ft laboratory. The business employs about 50 workers, and is located at Asia Pacific Head Office, No.1 Factory, No.96 WeiXi Road, Weiting Town, Suzhou Industrial Park 215122, Suzhou, China.
