Acument Names TORX Quality Award Winners

Acument Global Technologies named 13 fastener manufacturers and five drive tool producers as 2009 winners of its TORX® Drive System World Class Quality Awards.
 

The 18 companies represent Germany, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Spain, Taiwan and the U.S.

“Six TORX fastener licensees won the award for the first time in 2009,” stated Marty Bieschke, Director of Intellectual Property and Licensing for Acument. “Only Cooper Industries, a TORX drive tool licensee, has won the award in each of the competition’s five years, setting an elite standard of technical, manufacturing and service performance for licensed TORX manufacturers around the world.”

Acument established the annual award program in 2005 to recognize high-performing, qualified licensees who demonstrate commitment to manufacturing high quality, authentic TORX fasteners and tooling.
