Howard Named to Head New Industrial Rivet Distribution Center
Industrial Rivet & Fastener Company named Jim Howard to head the new North Carolina distribution center in addition to being national sales manager.
Howard joined Industrial Rivet in 2003 as national sales manager. In his 45-year career he held a variety of roles involving rivets and permanent fastening, including being a manufacturer’s rep for nearly four decades. E-mail: jim.howard@rivet.com
The new branch will take on some distribution functions currently handled at the company’s New Jersey headquarters, which is increasing its assembly, kitting and manufacturing capabilities.
Howard noted the new distribution center is equipped with the new state-of-the-art wireless warehouse capabilities. “The system has just recently gone live in other facilities,” Howard said. Industrial Rivet will offer classes to customers and employees through its in-house training facility.
