Chicago Leading in Exhibitors Among U.S. Spring Fastener Shows

Among North American spring 2011 trade shows, Fastener Tech 11 reports 85 exhibiting companies / 90 booths thus far – double the number for each of the two other spring fastener shows.
 

With a June 13-15, 2011 schedule, Fastener Tech has more time to sell booths than the April 26-27 National Industrial Fastener & Mill Supply Expo/East which lists 42 exhibiting companies / 44 booths  or the May 12-13 All American Fastener Show with 41 exhibitors.

 

The record largest North American fastener show is the 2007 NIFS/West with 829 booths. The largest East show was 653 booths in 1998.

 

In Europe, Fastener Fair Stuttgart opens a three-day run February 22 with 670 companies from 40 nations exhibiting in the equivalent of space of 1,345 10×10 U.S. booths.

 

• NIFMSE/East – also known as “NIFS” or “Columbus” – has been held annually since 1981 – though the 2009 East show was cancelled.
 

Since 2000 the East show has averaged 205 booths. 

There will be conferences and an opening reception on Tuesday, followed by the Wednesday trade show.  Booths are $1,295 to $1,495 plus furnishings. Web: fastenershows.com

 

• The second All American Fastener Show in Branson, MO, includes an opening reception and golf on Thursday and the trade show on Friday.

• Fastener Tech 11 will be at the Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL, near Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport.  It is the third of the biennial Fastener Tech shows.
 

There will be conferences all three days, a reception on Tuesday and the trade show Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday.
