June 3 Deadline for Free Registration for Fastener Tech
Fastener Tech Panelists to Offer Tips on How to Buy Fasteners
Panelists will offer tips on “How to Buy Fasteners” for buyers for distributors during the third biennial Fastener Tech 11. The conference will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 15.
Three veteran sales managers will speak from experience in advising buyers how to make the buying & selling process better for everyone. Added together the panelists total more than 95 years experience in the fastener industry. Panelists are: XL Screw vice president Wayne Wishnew, Rotor Clip vice president for sales Sara Mallo and Allstar Fasteners Inc. sales manager Bill Vodicka. FIN editor and publisher John Wolz will moderate the panel and give tips collected from around the industry.
FastenerTech 11 has 107 exhibitors totaling 114 booths booked for the June 13-15, 2011, trade show.
The deadline for free registration is Friday, June 3. In person registration at the trade show is $50.
Fastener Tech will be at the Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL, near Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport.
Conferences and an opening reception are on Monday and the trade show is on Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday.
Fastener Tech 11 also features conference sessions on Fastener Technology on Monday. Tuesday sessions will be on Heat Treating, Expanding Domestic Fastener Supply Base, Social Networking for Fastener Professionals, Distributor Strategies to Boost Sales & Efficiencies and a Simulation Roundtable.
The Women in the Fastener Industry meeting will be Wednesday.
How to Buy Fasteners will be 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Entrance to exhibits is free for those registering before June 3 and $50 after.
There will be an All Industry Reception from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday. Sponsors are: KCH Engineered Systems and EPi/Electrochemical Products, American Fasteners & Components, KDS Imports, Metric & Multistandard, National Fasteners Distributors Association, Sems & Specials, XL Screw Corp., Brighton-Best International, Mid-West Fastener Association and Fastener Technology International.
The fastener trade show is co-located with SUR/FIN 2011, which is sponsored by the National Association for Surface Finishing.
