Las Vegas Booth Total to Top 2010
The National Industrial Fastener & Mill Supply Expo will be larger this year with 720 booths sold to 541 companies.
NIFMSE will be October 19-21, 2011, at the Sands Expo & Convention Center in Las Vegas.
There were 689 booths in 2010. The record is 829 booths in 2007. The first West show in Las Vegas in 1997 drew 224 booths.
Show general manager Susan Hurley predicted more than 725 booths by show time.
Hurley said exhibitors thus far come from 13 nations: U.S., Canada, China, Germany, India, Israel, Italy, Korea, Mexico, Singapore, Spain, Taiwan and Vietnam.
Most conference sessions and an opening reception will be on Wednesday. A panel on the “State of the U.S. Fastener Industry” will be at 7:30 a.m. Thursday preceding the trade show from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Exhibits will also be open 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday. A variety of hotels near the Sands Convention Center during the 2011 National Industrial Fastener & Mill Supply Expo are offering rooms from $34 at Super 8 to $309 at Caesars Palace.
The official NIFMSE hotel prices are $189 at Venetian; Caesars Place at 10% below Harrah’s; and Harrah’s at 10% below its online price.
