Thai Subsidiary Pushes Taiwan’s Tycoons Group September Sales Up 24%

The Thailand subsidiary’s profit helped spur Taiwan-based Tycoons Group Enterprise Co. Ltd. to a 24% growth in September sales.
The fastener manufacturer reported September sales of NT$163 million (US$5.4m).

For the first-nine-months of 2011, sales were up 18.1% from the same period last year to NT$1.945 billion (US$64.4b).

Tycoons attributed the September increase to subsidiary Tycoons Worldwide Group (Thailand) Public Co., Ltd., which shipped about NT$645 million (US$21.4m) in September 2011 sales – up 79.8% for the same period last year.

Analysts predict Tycoons Thailand sales will increase due to post-flood reconstruction requiring screws, wire rods and bolts.  ©2011 GlobalFastenerNews.com
