Account management, digitizing distributors and an economic update are topics for the March 2020 joint conference of the Pacific-West Fastener Association and National Fastener Distributors Association.

The conference plus tabletop show will be March 4-6, 2020, in Long Beach, CA.

The tabletop is from 3pm to 7pm on Thursday, March 5. Distributors can attend free if they register by February 19. As of December, more than 50 companies were booked to exhibit. Web: Pac-West.org

  • Denise Freier will speak on ROI through strategic account management. With 71% of B2B customers feeling disengaged from suppliers, as buyers become more informed they will look for sourcing innovation.
  • Dr. Barry Lawrence will use actual examples of digital distributor models from Texas A&M supply chain research to demonstrate how distributors can create competitive advantages.
  • Beacon Economics partner Dr. Christopher Thornberg will discuss U.S. economic indicators such as employment, spending, real estate and GDP growth.

AIM Testing Laboratory will demonstrate structural bolting testing at 2pm Thursday.

The conference also includes small group roundtable discussions, welcome reception and dinner aboard the USS Iowa battleship.
