Accurate Mfg. Products Adds Capacity
Indianapolis-based Accurate Manufactured Products Group Inc. added their second and third new Star Swiss Lathes for 2012, becoming one of the largest Swiss Type manufacturing facilities for special fasteners in the Midwest.
The Lathes were brought online to handle the increased demand for their standard product lines of Shoulder Screws, Architectural Standoffs, and Sex Bolts in all materials.
Accurate operates a total of 10 Swiss Lathes, eight of which were purchased within the past two years, including five in the last 18 months.
“Using multiple Lathes rather than a multi spindle gives you more flexibility and increased up time to meet your customers’ requirements,” stated George Bursac of Star Machine Tool, manufacturer of the Swiss Lathes.
