ACQUISITION: Columbus Fastener Corp. Acquired by Bostwick-Braun
Columbus Fastener Corp. was acquired by Toledo-based Bostwick-Braun Co., the Toledo Blade reports.
Columbus Fastener distributes fasteners and construction and industrial supplies, and will become a wholly owned subsidiary of Bostwick-Braun, a wholesale hardware distributor and industrial supplier, according to the Blade.
“We see a tremendous potential to cross-sell products in this merger,” stated Bostwick-Braun CEO William Bollin.
Columbus Fastener has been in business over 40 years serving Ohio and surrounding states from locations in Columbus and Cincinnati.
“We look forward to becoming Bostwick’s fastener ‘experts’ and helping them expand their sales programs,” stated Columbus Fastener CFO Mike Burke.
Founded in Toledo in 1855 as W. & C.B. Roff & Co, the company was renamed Bostwick-Braun in the 1870s. Web: www.bostwick-braun.com/ ©2013 GlobalFastenerNews.com
