Ellison Technologies Inc. acquired Jackson Machinery Company.
Southern California-headquartered Ellison provides engineered machining systems and industrial equipment to the American metal-working and metal-cutting manufacturers. The acquisition allows Ellison to expand in the northern Ohio manufacturing market.
Cleveland-based Jackson was a privately held machine distributor. Operations were merged with Ellisons’ Cleveland office, headed by Ohio division president Art Seyler. Former owner Bob Jackson and 10 executives and employees will join the six Cleveland Ellison employees.
