ACQUISITION: LISI Group Acquires Two Companies

French fastener maker LISI Group has acquired two companies: Seignol and Intermed Application.
Seignol manufactures surgical and ancillary implants, with 80 employees and sales of EUR 11 million (US$15.84 million) in 2007. LISI said the acquisition strengthens its medical division, which has about 230 employees and annual revenue of EUR 25 million (US$36m).
“With the integration of Seignol and Intermed Application, we are moving on to a new stage in the construction of LISI Medical,” stated Jean-Louis Colders, CEO of LISI Aerospace. “Relying on their skills, their special processes and the diversity of their applications, we are going to accelerate our long-term progression.”
Intermed Application offers capacity for spectrum coloring, laser marking and decontamination.
Seignol and Intermed Application are both based in Neyron, France.
LISI is a worldwide leading manufacturer of fasteners and assembly components for the aerospace, automotive, and fragrance-cosmetics industries.
