ACQUISITION: McIlhon Opens Assembled Products

Ed McIlhon, retired president of Bossard Inc (BIP) and the former Iowa Industrial Products, formed Assembled Products Incorporated, a kits and bundles operation.
API purchased most of its assets from Bossard, which was in the process of spinning off the non-core business consisting of a kitting and light assembly operation.
API will continue to concentrate and enhance their efforts in kitting, bundling and light assembly functions as a value-added service to their customer base. API anticipates first year revenues to be $3 to $4 million.
McIlhon will act as chairman and sole shareholder and has appointed Matt Ulrich as president. Ulrich worked for McIlhon in special projects and is also his son-in-law.
