ACQUISITION: Sweden’s Bufab Acquires Flos of Sweden
Sweden-based industrial supplier Bufab Holding AB Vrnamo has acquired Swedish C-parts specialist Flos B.V. Flos, Bufab announced.
Flos supplies 60,000 products, including fasteners and special mechanical components to a variety of end users.
Bufab said that the acquisition is in line with its focus on global parts productivity. Bufab added that the acquisition of Flos will complement Bufab’s current operations within the Netherlands, and strengthen its position within specialized fasteners.
Flos has 52 employees and recorded net sales in 2014 of around EUR 17 million.
Bufab was founded 1977 in Smland, Sweden and today has operations in 23 countries and 800 employees. Sales totaled SEK 2.031 million (US$243.5 million). Web: bufab.com ©2015 GlobalFastenerNews.com
