ACQUISITION: Würth Acquires Machine Tool Distributor Oliver H. Van Horn
The Würth Group acquired New Orleans-based regional industrial supply and machine tool distributor Oliver H. Van Horn Co. Terms were not disclosed.

Founded in 1903, Oliver H. Van Horn specializes in abrasives, cutting tools, machine tools and MRO products for the metal working marketplace.
CEO Lee Eagan, who will continue to lead the company, said Oliver H. Van Horn will employ about 75 workers in its seven branches in Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama under the name Oliver Van Horn Co. LLC – a member of the Wurth Group.
“This acquisition extends our business interests into a new but complimentary market category that we have looked at for some time,” said Robert Stolz, CEO of North America for Würth. “Van Horn’s reputation in this region is legendary.
