ACQUISITIONS: Triem Industries Acquires Stillwater Fasteners

Triem Industries LLC acquired Stillwater Fasteners, an affiliate of Vertex Fasteners. Stillwater Fasten-ers, founded in 1948 and located in East Freetown, MA, manufactures cold-headed, corrosion-resistant fasteners for the North American commercial market.
Doug Mola, Triem managing member and director of sales commented that “Stillwater has an excellent reputation in the industry and we are excited about the prospects of working with the Stillwater team to make the combined entity stronger and more competitive.”

Triem Industries, founded in 1996 and located in Oxford, CT, is a family-owned manufacturer of screws, sems, solid rivets and cold-headed specials, supplying the North American commercial market. Triem”s management team has more than 60 years of combined management experience in the fastener industry.
The Stillwater acquisition expands Triem”s manufacturing diameter range and adds in-house trimming and shaving capabilities.
Pawtucket, RI-based Vertex Fasteners is an importer and master stocking distributor of stainless steel and metric fasteners and rivets, selling to the distributor market from 10 U.S. warehouses.
