Active Screw Launching New Internet Inventory Portal for Customers
Active Screw & Fastener is launching a new customer Internet portal. “Active Access” outlines parts and specs supplied to customers; provides photos and prints of each inventoried item; the Last Twelve Months usage report; and searching by commodities, size, thread style, thread pitch, drive, and other specifications.
Active Access was developed to serve multinational and multidivisional company customers. Although manufacturing and engineering departments are the most likely users, executives can access snapshots of estimated annual usage.
Active Access is the first of several new services set to launch over the next six-months to customize sourcing solutions for managing inventory and increasing efficiencies. Active Screw & Fastener provides sourcing and inventory management for manufacturing components and suppliers.
