Aerospace Products S.E. Awarded Full-Service Air Force Contract
Aerospace Products S.E. Inc. won a contract award which extends and expands APSE’s existing work as a full-service hardware and fastener provider and supply chain integrator on the KC-135, C-17, C-130, and Global Air Traffic Management (GATM) programs.
“APSE is pleased to have been selected, in a fair and open competition, as the best solution to support the Boeing Company and the Air Force for this vital mission,” commented CEO Jeff Davis.
“As a supplier for U.S. Military programs, we must maintain a strict delivery schedule while adhering to a set budget,” stated operations VP stated Boag Joice. “We have proved that we provide an exceptional level of service which helps contractors meet their commitments.”
APSE has been awarded several OEM premiere quality ratings, such as the Gold Quality and Silver Delivery ratings in the Boeing Best System and the Northrop Grumman Platinum Source Preferred Award. This record of performance has earned the company a position as the full-service pan stock provider and supply chain integrator providing all hardware and fasteners.
At one of the MRO facilities APSE supports, the team manages as many as 4,000 discrete part numbers and more than 7,000 bins for multiple platforms.
Based in Huntsville, AL, APSE is a tribally-owned small business established in 1987 and is owned jointly by Cherokee Nation Businesses, a wholly owned affiliate of the Cherokee Nation, and Acorn Growth Companies. The company was acquired in August of 2008 from the Wimberly family.
APSE provides third party logistics services specializing in procurement, on-site supply chain integration, inventory bin management, and full service kitting. The company provides value added services such as configuration management, distribution, and manufacture of component and sub assembly kits.
