Chatsworth, CA-based Align Aerospace Holdings Inc., a distributor of aerospace fasteners and other hardware to OEMs and OEM suppliers, named Jerome de Truchis as president and CEO. He immediately replaces Andrew Roberts, who will leave the company for personal reasons.

de Truchis has experience in the aerospace fastener business, including working as head of Align’s European entity for more than three years. Prior to that he held managerial positions at Ingersoll Rand, Alcoa Fastening Systems and Thales.

“The opportunities before Align are tremendous, we have a great strategy, and I will be focused of deploying it well along with the leadership team and all great Align employees,” stated de Truchis.

Align Aerospace board chairman You Lei said Roberts, who was named CEO in June 2014, “has agreed to stay involved with the business through the end of the year to ensure a smooth transition.”

Align Aerospace was acquired by China’s Aviation Industry Corp. subsidiary AVIC International in April 2015.
