Chatsworth, CA-based Align Aerospace Holdings Inc., a distributor of aerospace fasteners and other hardware to OEMs and OEM suppliers, signed a long term agreement with Triumph Group, Inc.

Berwyn, PA-based TGI designs, engineers, manufactures, repairs and overhauls aerostructures, aircraft components, accessories, subassemblies, and systems.  The company serves a spectrum of the aviation industry, including OEMs of commercial, regional, business, and military aircraft and aircraft components, as well as commercial and regional airlines and air cargo carriers. Align Aerospace will leverage its 40-plus years of aerospace supply chain experience along with the financial strength of AVIC International to support TGI on a global basis.  The new enterprise-wide agreement includes “significant” changes to prior negotiated business terms in several key areas.

“This new award is in recognition of Align’s performance with Triumph Group Inc., as well as a sign of confidence in our ability to support Triumph’s supply chain,” stated CEO Jerome De Truchis.

“Align Aerospace, with its highly efficient and scalable operating system, is well positioned for management of a complex supply chain which includes proven solutions for quality assurance, point of use systems, and detailed reporting.”

Align Aerospace was acquired by China’s Aviation Industry Corp. subsidiary AVIC International in April 2015.
