All American Fastener Show Moving to Kansas City for 2013
The 2013 All American Fastener Show will move to Kansas City. The May 2012 show was cancelled due to February tornado damage at the hotel in southwestern Missouri.
The first two All American Fastener Shows were held in Branson, MO.
The next show will be May 8-9, 2013, at the Intercontinental Hotel within Kansas City’s Country Club Plaza. There will be a golf tournament and opening reception will be on the 8th. The trade show, luncheon and social media presentation will be on the 9th.
The Plaza is a 15-block area of shopping and entertainment that was designed in 1922 as the first suburban shopping center in the U.S. It features Spanish architecture and European art, including fountains, sculptures and murals. Web: kansascityic.com
“I went to visit the hotel and area last week and am very impressed,” show owner Heidi Volltrauer said.
The 2011 AAFS drew 57 exhibitors and the 2012 show listed 30 exhibitors when it was cancelled.
