All-West Components & Fasteners Inc. promoted David Allen to VP of operations and Roberta (Bobbi) Thompson to CFO, CEO Rick Peterson announced.
Allen managed operations for 20 years and is a Certified Supply Chain Specialist. He led the eight-month search for All-West’s new headquarters.
Last autumn after 40 years in south Seattle, All-West relocated to the southeast suburb of Auburn.
The new facility doubles the warehouse space and includes ground level vehicle access as well as 7 dock high doors. The kitting and packaging department now has dedicated work space and the receiving department has an expanded conveyor system for efficient material flow.
A factor in the relocation was that most employees reside in the south end. Also the industrial park, East Park, is easily accessed from I-5 and Hwy 167 and convenient for most carriers.
Thompson assisted the search and relocation process, preparing budgets and cost analysis, and keeping sales and administration up and running with little disruption to customers during the move. Thompson has been with All-West for 18 years.
Mark Peterson is president.
All-West was formed in 1978 at Boeing Field in Seattle as a wholesaler of industrial fasteners and power tools. In the 1980s, All-West moved and added personnel with aerospace fastener manufacturing experience. That focus led to being given Boeing’s “President’s Award” for performance supporting military programs. In the 1990’s, All-West expanded into electronic hardware and developed an auto-replenish logistics system.
All-West, an ISO-9001 distributor, has branches in Boise and Spokane and the new headquarters is at: 4510 B Street NW, Auburn, WA 98001. Tel: 206 762-1875 Email: sales@All-West.com Web: All-West.com
