Arrests Made After Sundram Fasteners Website Hacked

Two former employees of Chennai, India-based Sundram Fasteners were arrested for allegedly hacking into the company’s website and selling industrial information to a competitor, the newspaper Hindu reported. Sundram claimed it incurred a huge loss due to the incident, according to the Hindu. Police identified the suspects as V.S. Sriram and S.Yadhava Moorthy.
During their investigation police reportedly seized a hard drive from a private casting company in Faridabad, Haryana, before arresting Sriram, who allegedly stole confident Sundram information and sold it to an executive at the casting firm, the Hindu reported.
