ASSOCIATIONS: After 20 Years, SEFA’s Adams Steps Down
The Southeastern Fastener Association will close its office in Atlanta and board members will take over administrative duties.
Kathy Adams will leave as SEFA executive director on September 30.
“It is a new time for SEFA,” Adams told FIN.
Adams succeeded Rebecca Williams in 2001, who had been executive director since 1975. Adams met Williams through her husband, Tony Adams of Metro Bolt, and began assisting Williams with SEFA in 1989. SEFA was operated through a company which provides secretarial services and executive suites in suburban Atlanta.
The next SEFA meeting will be March 10-12, 2010, at Caribe Royale in Orlando. SEFA will be marking its 35th anniversary.
The new SEFA address is P.O. Box 448, Elba, AL 36323. E-mail: sefassoc@yahoo.com Web: thesefa.com
