ASSOCIATIONS: Grabowski to be 2014 STAFDA President

Eric Grabowski will be the 2014 president of the Specialty Tools & Fasteners Distributors Association.

Grabowski is CEO of Edge Construction of Spokane, WA.  He succeeds 2013 president Rick Lamb of Frank’s Supply Co., Albuquerque, NM.

Rod Gowett of Bay Tool & Supply in Milpitas, CA, was to be president, but is stepping back to vice president due to a family health issue.  Gowett will be the 2015 STAFDA president.

Grabowski joined Edge in 2006. The distributorship has eight locations in the Pacific Northwest serving the commercial construction market.  Edge has been increasing in industrial and government markets.

Grabowski was recently chair of the Evergreen Marketing Group.

Gowett founded Bay Tool in 1992. Bay Tool supplies electrical and plumbing contractors from Milpitas and branches in San Francisco and Reno. He began his career in 1979 as an outside sales rep for Don Newcomb Tool.
