ASTM has published General Requirements for the Competence of Testing & Calibration Laboratories for ISO/IEC Standard 17025.
The global 17025 standard is used by labs and clients in confirming lab competence.
Testing and calibration labs that comply with ISO/IEC 17025 also operate in accordance with ISO 9001 and 9002.
