Atlanta Rod and Manufacturing Co., Inc. is adding 40,000 sq ft to its facility.

Birmingham Fastener acquired fastener supplier Atlanta Rod in 2020, “doubling down on domestic fastener manufacturing in the southeast during the COVID-19 pandemic,” stated Birmingham Fastener president Brad Tinney.

Lavonia, GA-based Atlanta Rod has the capability to forge bolts from 3/8” to 4” and hot form nuts from 3/8” to 4” diameter for standard fasteners and customized specialty and non-standard products.  Web: atlrod.com

In the past two years, Birmingham Fastener has expanded its footprint by opening locations in New York, Iowa, and Houston.
