Atlantic Fasteners Launches Website For Aerospace Division
Atlantic Fasteners launched AFAero.com to support the company’s growing aerospace division.
The new dedicated aerospace site provides access to nearly 10,000 varieties of brand-name fasteners, connectors, screws and other mil spec hardware.
The site also details the company’s award-winning supplier services, quality and traceability measures, and Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) performance data. Buyers may request quotes on the site for standard and exotic materials or hard-to-find items. Industry-related news, videos and streaming updates are also available.
“Our new site is yet another example of the division’s impressive growth,” said Tony Peterson, president of Atlantic Fasteners. “We have a solid, longstanding reputation in the commercial distribution world. Earning the prestigious Lockheed Martin STAR Supplier Award increased the already booming demand for our aerospace offerings. With the increased visibility, we felt the division deserved top-notch web representation. Hence the new sophisticated online resource for our aviation and aerospace partners.”
“The division is growing in sync with our customers’ needs,” added aerospace division manager Marc Dionne. “Like our newly expanded aerospace warehouse, the site is an extension of our streamlined operation, further increasing our efficiency and responsiveness.”
In 2011 Atlantic Fasteners marks the 7th anniversary of its aerospace division, which moved to new quarters in West Springfield in 2010 and also maintains sales offices in Maine and Missouri.
Massachusetts-based commercial and aerospace supplier Atlantic Fasteners turns 30 this year, marking not only a key anniversary but a new chapter in the company’s 30-year transformation from small local company to national supplier.
“Once a tiny, unfocused business adrift in debt, Atlantic Fasteners was purchased in 1981 by an executive intent on using big-company strategies to breathe new life into small, entrepreneurial ventures.”
Today this “small venture” achieves $13 million in yearly sales and has an aerospace division that has been growing, despite recession, at an annual compounded rate of 27%. ©2011 GlobalFastenerNews.com
