Atlantic Fasteners Wins Two Lockheed Martin Contracts

Atlantic Fasteners’ aerospace division got a pair of Lockheed Martin subcontracts worth at least $87,000 to supply aerospace fasteners and other locking components for two years, announced aerospace director Marc Dionne.

One contract covers 67 fasteners for a mobile radar system.

The second is for 55 parts used on a wireless, through-the-earth communications system, designed for contacting underground mines after accidents occur.

Dionne said earning the Lockheed STAR award in 2008 and maintaining a nearly perfect quality rating has helped Atlantic get more of the company’s business.
