Atlantic Receives AS9210 Certification
The military/aerospace division of Atlantic Fasteners received AS9120-compliant supplier certification.
AS9210 certification reflects quality management standards and international requirements for chain of ownership, traceability, stock control and availability of records for all parts and components supplied by the company.
Division leader Marc Dionne noted the large aerospace OEMs “require AS9120 before they will do business with a supplier, so now we have a significant opportunity to meet the needs of these key industry players-companies like Boeing, Sikorsky, and many others.”
Founded in 1981, Atlantic Fasteners is an employee owned master distributor stocking 16,684 commercial, military/aerospace and hard-to-find fastener varieties. With 2008 sales totaling $15.6 million Atlantic sales have grown at a 15.2% annual rate.
