Don Bratcher was promoted to president of Atlas Bolt and Screw, effective June 1.

Bratcher’s career spans more than 25 years with Butler Manufacturing, a metal buildings manufacturer. He joined Atlas in April 2015 as the business unit manager for the wood segment.

When Atlas president Randy Ridenour, who had been with the company for 32 years, retired at the end of 2016, Bratcher and metals business manager Scott Bowers were given autonomy to run their businesses.

Now Bratcher has responsibility for all of Atlas’s North American activities, including branches in Ashland, OH; Flat Rock, NC; Salem, OR; and Houston, along with a factory and corporate offices in Ashland.

“There are many exciting projects underway at Atlas that are planned to position the business for continued growth and success for years to come,” stated Mike Hartley, president of Marmom Construction Fasteners Group. “Executing these projects properly will require strong leadership and the attention and talents of the many people in the Atlas organization.”
