Auto Fastener Maker NICFO Eyes U.S. Expansion

Japanese automotive fastener supplier Nifco Inc. is mulling a $1.7 million expansion of its plant in Shelbyville, Kentucky, the Louisville Business Journal reports.
 

Nifco would double the facility size to more than 83,000 sq ft by adding warehouse and assembly space.
 

Since 2008 Nifco has operated a 43,000 sq ft facility at 380 Hudson Blvd. to manufacture plastic injection-molded auto fasteners. Nifco America Corp is headquartered in Ohio.
