Aviall Inc. expanded its central distribution facility in Dallas, as well as its corporate headquarters. The project, begun in the spring of 2003, was completed in early September. The new facility adds 25,500 sq ft of warehouse space, increasing the total capacity to 305,000 sq ft. Aviall also completed the build-out of 7,800 sq ft of office space.
The company said the expansion was in response to Aviall’s sales increases over the last three years and its anticipated future growth. The move also reflects Aviall’s efforts to develop new OEM supplier relationships and add additional product lines. “This state-of-the-art facility was originally built with growth in mind. We are pleased to be able to expand the facility, thereby expanding our offering of significant supply-chain efficiencies and value to both the OEM and customer worlds,” stated CEO Paul Fulchino.
Aviall has recently expanded facilities in Houston, Los Angeles, Singapore, Chicago, Toronto, Montreal, Denver, Minneapolis, Winnipeg and Anchorage. Web: aviall.com 2004 FastenerNews.com
