Bailey, Salome Head SFA; Expo Set for April 10
Mike Bailey of Nucor Fastener is the new chairman of the Southwestern Fastener Association and Bobby Salome of El Paso Bolt & Screw Co. is president for 2010. Bailey succeeds Donnie Talbert of SBS Industries.
Keith Slaton, Standard Fasteners & Allstate Supply, was elected vice president; Mary Chambers, Assembly Products & Sales, re-elected treasurer; and Susan Davis, Southwest Distributor Sales, assistant treasurer.
New directors are: Dwayne Carnes, All-Spec Sales Inc.; Tammie Shields, Advanced Fasteners Sales; and Slaton. Continuing directors are Don Carr, Porteous Fasteners; Michelle Rosser, Big Red Fasteners; and Tom Stocking, Heads & Threads International.
“The Keys to High Performance & Personal Renewal” will be Mark Tower’s keynote topic at the Southwestern Fastener Association spring conference and expo.
The conference will be April 8-11, 2010, at the Gaylord Hotel & Conference Center in Grapevine, TX – near Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. The trade show will be from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.
The schedule also includes round table discussion, networking reception and golf outing.
