Bailey, Salome Head SFA
Mike Bailey of Nucor Fastener is the new chairman of the Southwestern Fastener Association and Bobby Salome of El Paso Bolt & Screw Co. is president for 2010.
Bailey succeeds Donnie Talbert of SBS Industries.
Keith Slaton, Standard Fasteners & Allstate Supply, was elected vice president; Mary Chambers, Assembly Products & Sales, re-elected treasurer; and Susan Davis, Southwest Distributor Sales, assistant treasurer.
New directors are: Dwayne Carnes, All-Spec Sales Inc.; Tammie Shields, Advanced Fasteners Sales; and Slaton. Continuing directors are Don Carr, Porteous Fasteners; Michelle Rosser, Big Red Fasteners; and Tom Stocking, Heads & Threads International.
The SFA’s next event will be its spring conference April 8-11, 2010, at the Gaylord Hotel in Grapevine, TX. The Southwestern Fastener Expo will be on April 10.
