Bay State Changes Name to American Elite Molding

The name of Bay State Cable Ties has been changed to American Elite Molding LLC.

“We have had twelve straight years of double digit growth since we decided to become an American manufacturer,” said CEO Robert Sires explained. “As we look to the future, we wanted a name that accurately portrayed our current status and our goals going forward.”

The company has grown from a small reseller to $25 million in sales as a manufacturer of 1.5 billion cable ties annually.

The word ‘American’ was chosen to emphasize it is “keeping all manufacturing processes in America as well as its complete national coverage with four regional distribution centers.”

“Molding” is in the name to describe the company’s product scope from nylon cable ties to HVAC duct straps to custom plastic injection molding through it Technology Plastics division.

Last year the company added 20,000 sq ft to its plant in Florida and added 40 employees. AEM operates 24/7/365.

Sires projects AEM doubling in size in the next five years.

Sires founded Bay State in 1998. He also is a former president and current board member of Unipharm Inc., a U.S, vitamin and supplement manufacturer that holds top in market share in Russia, Poland and Ukraine. He also has been with Northrup and Leach Holding. Email: rsires@robertsires.com
