Brighton-Best International is constructing a 212,000 sq ft office and warehouse complex in Strongsville, OH, Cleveland.com reports.
BBI reportedly broke ground on December 26, and expects the facility on Commerce Parkway to open in September.
Currently BBI operates from a leased 100,000 sq ft building on nearby Imperial Parkway.
BBI indicated the expansion would create new jobs.
“Now, we have about 50-60 workers covering two shifts,” BBI sales VP Steve Andrasik told Cleveland.com. “We will add workers, but it’s hard to give a number. We will ramp up slowly.”
Owned by Ta-Chen International, BBI is a master distributor and importer supplying 7,000 distributors through 31 locations in six countries, including the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Australia, New Zealand and the UK.
The company’s global headquarters is in Taiwan, and the U.S. headquarters is at 5855 Obispo Ave., Long Beach, CA 90805. Tel: 562 808-8000 Web: brightonbest.com
