B/E Picks Middle East Distributor
B/E Aerospace’s aerospace fastener business, B/E Aerospace Consumables Management, appointed Bahrain-based Global Aviation Services Co. as exclusive distributor for parts of the Middle East, Al-Bawaba News reports.
The regional aviation market is growing at a rapid rate, stated Global Aviation CEO John Smith.
“Recent global phenomena such as rising fuel prices, inflation and recession have all contributed to the rethinking of procurement and inventory philosophies,” Smith stated.
“This is a significant opportunity for B/E Aerospace to increase its presence in the rapidly growing Middle Eastern market,” added B/E Aerospace regional sales director Klaus Brod.
The partnership is designed to short the regional supply chain and enable air operators to reduce inventory.
B/E Aerospace Consumables Management is one of the largest distributor of aerospace fasteners and consumables in the world, stocking more than 275,000 parts at 40 locations. ©2009 GlobalFastenerNews.com
