Berry Named WIFI President

The Women in the Fastener Industry appointed Pam Berry as president and Mary Lou Aderman as chair.
Berry, co-owner of Advance Components, has shared the role of facilitator role with Aderman, of the Aderman Co., since WIFI was formed in 2009.
“I’m so pleased to be asked to lead this terrific group of professional women,” said Berry, who co-founded the non-profit organization. “We continue to grow our membership and we are so proud to serve the interests of women in our field.”
New board members are Nancy Rich, executive director of the Mid-West, Southeastern and Metropolitan fastener associations; Suzy Cravens, Advance Components; Janet Schiopota, Great Lakes Fasteners Inc.; and Sara Vasicek, Aztech Locknut Company.
WIFI board members returning for 2014 are Cris Young of Hudson Fasteners Inc. as first vice president; Joanne Bialas, International Fasteners, second vice president; and Beth Van Zandt, Desert Distribution Sales.
Rich is secretary/treasurer.
WIFI’s 2014 schedule includes meetings in conjunction with the Mid-West Fastener Association table top show, June 22-23 in Chicago; and during the National Industrial Fastener & Mill Supply Expo, October 22 in Las Vegas.
