The European Fastener Distributors Association elected Andreas Bertaggia as its new president.

Bertaggia succeeds Dr. Volker Lederer, who has led EFDA for 10 years.

Bertaggia is VP and head of the global supply chain for the Bossard Group.

The EFDA assembly of delegates re-elected vice president Gian Marco Deplane, general manager and owner of La Bulloneria Emiliana. Vincent van Dijk of the Dutch association NEVIB was elected treasurer.

Luca Bernasconi of Vital SpA was elected task force leader.
