What is the experience of women involved in the fastener industry? What can be learned from their background and skills? The networking group Women in the Fastener Industry (WIFI) will discuss these questions in a panel discussion Monday, November 8, 2010, at the National Industrial Fastener Show/West in Las Vegas November 8, 2010.
The discussion takes place at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center, room Breakers A, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Moderating the discussion will be Mary Lou Aderman, president and owner of The Aderman Co., a rep agency and mentoring service.

Panelists are: Joanne Bialas, national sales manager, International Fasteners, Inc. and president of the Southeastern Fastener Association: Mary Chambers, owner and president of Assembly Products & Sales and officer of the Southwestern Fastener Association; Nikki Long, national accounts manager,  FastenMaster division of OMG; and Stelfast Inc. CEO Simmi Sakhuja.

The meeting is sponsored by The Aderman Company and Advance Components, a distributor of specialty fasteners. The session is open to the public, and women attending the NIFS convention are encouraged to attend.

WIFI is dedicated to fostering social and professional connections among women in the U.S. fastener industry.
